The Albena Gateva signature is born where vision meets construction. Enveloping volumes, tactile surfaces and unexpected reflections define a precise language, one that evolves from one collection to the next while keeping its identity intact.
The creative process is not tied to a single place. It can begin in the studio or somewhere else entirely, when an image, a feeling or an intuition sparks the idea of a new collection. From that moment a search takes shape, and matter is one of its essential passages.
The maison looks neither for the maximalism that shouts nor the minimalism that fades, but for a third way: decisive structure and precious matter that shines.
Silks, wools, cashmere, bouclé, embossed surfaces and Italian fabrics of refined workmanship are chosen for their quality, their hand, and their ability to build volume and catch the light. Silk linings carry the same research inside the garment, while the craft of the making, the balance of proportion and the care for detail, down to the logo buttons, define its identity.
Limited editions preserve the exclusive character of the collections. Coats, jackets, matching sets and special pieces, made in Europe, each keep an individuality of their own while speaking to one another within a coherent wardrobe.
