This was the year I decided to put myself out there. I created my first collection, Albella Privè, and named it “Love in My Garden.” The inspiration was right in front of me: my garden in autumn, with its warm, intense colours, from yellow to orange to red. I designed a unique camouflage, blending two tones I adore, which I would carry forward in future collections. This was also the birth of the Cocoon, a piece that, for me, represents warmth and protection, and which I have held on to ever since.

In 2022, I wanted to expand on the idea of intimacy and refinement, working extensively with silks and luxurious fabrics. This is when I introduced pyjamas—perfect for home, yet so elegant they could be worn outside. They tell the story of the beauty of everyday life and femininity, embracing my private world.

This was the year of experimentation. I reimagined a special piece, the hoodie, with silk and precious materials. These pieces were designed for those who, like me, seek versatility and style: with the right accessory, you could wear them during the day and transform them for the evening. I loved adding details that enhanced the garment itself, like tiny jewels. I liked the idea of shining with simplicity, without the need for additional adornments.

2024 was a year of profound inner change. A special encounter stirred something within me, prompting me to see my brand with fresh eyes. That’s when I decided to step forward personally and give the brand my name: Albena Gateva. This choice marked an important step, a kind of self-awareness. The brand was no longer just a collection but a part of me, reflecting my story and my way of life. With the winter collection, I wanted to close a chapter and take stock of everything I had created up to that point, opening myself up to a new, more authentic, and deeper phase.

The Spring/Summer 2025 collection carries a new energy, a more mature and conscious chapter. It’s a different collection, designed for an urban, modern woman who wants to feel elegant and free, with oversized jackets, jeans, and refined details as the main characters.
